Career
She made her mark on the international stage by joining the Nepal national team for the 2014 South Asian Football Federation Championship, making her debut against Bhutan as a substitute and contributing to an impressive 8–0 victory at just 17 years old. In February 2017, she received an invitation to participate in the Maldives women’s league.
By the age of 20, Bhandari had established herself as South Asia’s highest-scoring female striker. She then joined Sethu FC for the 2018-19 Indian Women’s League season, where she had a remarkable debut, scoring four goals against Manipur Police Sports Club and earning the Player of the Match award. Her goal-scoring prowess helped Sethu FC secure the Indian Women’s League title.
In the 2019-20 season, she transferred to Gokulam Kerala FC, where she continued her success by becoming the league’s top scorer with 16 goals, leading the team to win the championship. After rejoining Gokulam Kerala FC for the 2023 season, Bhandari excelled once more, netting 31 goals, including five hat-tricks, and securing her third Indian Women’s League trophy.
Later, she signed with Hapoel Ra’anana, where she scored five goals in two games before her stint was cut short due to the October 7 attack. Bhandari made her European debut with En Avant Guingamp on February 3, 2024, becoming the first Nepali player to both play and score in a European league.
